If you ve seen the addition at the YMCA lately you know it s really taking shape The goal is to have the expansion enclosed before winter and have it complete by summer The 5 million addition includes a pre-school area a 40 foot climbing wall that will actually penetrate through the roof of the Y and be enclosed in glass a new gym more cardio space and some locker rooms They tell us the Y has 10-thousand members and this will allow them to add new programs and keep growing Roger Mazurek YMCA Director The community really seems to be booming right now with all the great construction in Minot it s nice to see The YMCA reflects the spirit of the community and we are happy to be a part of it The YMCA continues to raise funds for the project Integrity Mutual Funds Inc located on Main Street is 20 years old this week They hosted numerous activities throughout the week and there was a ribbon-cutting ceremony put on by the chamber ambassadors President and CEO Mark Anderson says the company was incorporated as as ND Holdings in 1987 Today Integrity Mutual offers 15 mutual funds and has a securities brokerage division called Capital Financial Services which has over 450 financial representatives throughout country K amp amp B Insulation is putting up a new building here at 7400 Highway 2 East The Minot company is owned by Kirk Carr and Bob Lervik They do mechanical insulation duct work piping and boiler system work They needed more space and plan to move in by the first of the year The Sleep Inn and Suites of Minot has received the 2007 Gold Hospitality Award from Choice Hotels International The award is for quality in such things as customer service and housekeeping For Business Beat I m Carla Burbidge CAM13 SHOT SPORTS
